What is permanent make-up?

A specialized cosmetic tattoo that utilizes special ink colors and instruments designed specifically for the face.

The Inks that are designed for the face are meant to fade over time- where body tattoo inks are stronger and made to last.

Who is a candidate for permanent make-up?

Most people are candidates for permanent makeup, however if your skin is extremely dry, oily, very fair, sensitive, or you bruise easily, I would suggest you speak with Brooke, our registered/certified  PMU practitioner.

Why Microblade brows?

Because it's so natural, I fell in love with this part of the industry

because of how extremely natural it looks. Having been a permanent makeup artist I have always liked the natural aspect of permanent makeup. When you are standing online and speak with someone and they are looking at you, I want them to notice you- not your brow's. My goal - no one would know you had them done. You can achieve a natural look weather you have a little scar or if you were not blessed with full brows, or just want to have a new shape that's flattering for your face or you don't want to fill them in. I think everybody can find something to compliment their individuality and lifestyle. I believe the same philosophy applies to eyeliner. I like to accentuate your beauty not over power your beauty.

Is permanent makeup safe?

Absolutely! It should be noted that the artist or technician that you go to is properly trained and that they are in compliance with there local health department, and state, as well as OSHA certified. They should be able to show you their credentials. Brooke and SFS are happy to share that information with you. All our supplies are pre-sterilized and designed for one time and disposed after use.

Is the procedure painful?

Not at all! I use 2 to 3 types of anesthetic and I leave it on for 20 minutes or so, you will be quite numb before we start, at most my clients feel a scratching sensation and I demonstrate the feeling before we begin. When clients come back for their touch up they sometimes fall asleep.

Why should your brows look natural?

Because your  beautiful features and face are one of a kind and the right shape and color should fit your features. Corrections are not easy to do and that's why I believe in starting with a natural line, because later adjustments can always be made.  I always suggest to my clients that we stay on the side of caution.

How long should my brows last?

That is a question that is difficult to commit to because of the different variables that could affect the length of time. Such as, skin type, climate, lifestyle and hormones. For example, you play tennis or golf and you are out in the sun everyday it could last 6 months  or 2 years.
